The Holosen AEMS is undoubtedly one of the brand’s most interesting red dot sights. The new AEMS PRO X2 model comes with several innovations. It adds kill flash and improves optical parameters such as distortion and parallax. The AEMS PRO X2 also features an improved automatic control system powered by a solar panel. The red dot sight thus responds better to changes in ambient lighting and adjusts the reticle brightness. The body dimensions remain the same at just 5.5 x 3.9 x 4.3 cm, offering an exceptionally large 2.79 x 2.2 cm display. The collimator body is made of a very lightweight and durable 7075 aluminum alloy and is treated with a hard anodized finish.
Advanced solar technology with an integrated rechargeable capacitor allows the collimator to operate via the solar panel even in low-light conditions. Automatic shut-off and wake-up technology are standard features.
Everyone will surely appreciate the flip-up covers and the new kill flash, which can be removed if necessary. The collimator comes standard with a lower 1/3 co-witness mount.
The red dot sealed design is unquestionably the best solution for the most demanding conditions. Water, mud, or other debris can all be easily removed from the flip-up covers thanks to the sealed design. Solar Panel
The second generation of Holosun solar panels, introduced with the AEMS model, offers greater efficiency. In addition, the solar panel recharges an internal capacitor capable of storing energy and using it when light conditions are insufficient. The solar panel also automatically adjusts the red dots reticle based on lighting conditions (Solar Panel Mode). Under sufficient lighting conditions, the reticle is powered solely by the solar panel. If lighting conditions are insufficient, the red dot automatically switches to the capacitor or the CR2032 battery. Solar Panel Mode can be turned off.
Control Electronics
Each Holosun sight is equipped with control electronics featuring built-in memory that retains the last settings before shutdown.
The auto-off function is factory-set to 10 minutes. If the collimator is inactive, it will automatically turn off. Upon the slightest movement, the collimator will automatically turn on and return to its original state prior to shutdown.
The collimator can be turned off manually; in this case, the motion sensor will not be active.
Battery Placement
The battery is concealed within the collimator base. There are no bulky, awkward battery compartments on the collimator body to get in the way. The battery can be easily removed by unscrewing two screws.

Night Vision Support
Holosun sights are compatible with night vision devices. For use with night vision, the red dot sight is equipped with two brightness levels that are not visible to the naked eye in normal lighting conditions. These are brightness levels 1 through 4, which are compatible with night vision.
Installation Of The Sight
The sight is compatible with Picatinny/Weaver rails.
Attach the AEMS model to the weapon’s mounting rail and secure it using the fixed mount with the included T10 TORX wrench.
Parallax-Free
Holosun sights are designed to be parallax-free. Unlike when using open sights, the shooter does not need to look through the optical axis while firing. This feature allows the shooter to react instantly. Simply align the reticle with the target and pull the trigger. This advantage is particularly appreciated by hunters and shooters in tactical disciplines.
Reliability Under Recoil
The sight can withstand an impact of 1,000 G, which is equivalent to a 9.5×73 (.375 Weatherby) caliber.
It’s also perfect for hunting and sporting calibers, including shotguns.
The Dot Sight and Eye Conditions

- Using this sight in combination with astigmatism may be problematic.
- If you wear glasses, you should wear them while shooting.
