The Holosun ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic) is a new series of enclosed-tube red dot sights that evolved from the 403/503 series. Key improvements include a sleek, modern body design as well as the mount. The mount has an I-shaped cross-section, providing the maximum possible field of view.
Powered by a CR2032 battery with a 50,000-hour lifespan. Features ShakeAwake technology for putting the red dot sight to sleep and waking it up.
Users will certainly appreciate the increase in the optic’s diameter from 20 mm to 22 mm, which is 100% compatible with magnification modules.
The collimator comes with a high-profile lower 1/3 co-witness mount (1.63″) and features a T2 footprint, making it compatible with many third-party mounts.

Control Electronics
Each Holosun dot sight is equipped with control electronics that allow for manual adjustment of the reticle intensity.
The dot sight can be turned off manually; in this case, it must be turned back on.
Battery Location
The battery is concealed inside the sight housing. To replace it, simply remove the battery compartment and swap out the battery.

Night Vision Support
Holosun sights are compatible with night vision devices. For use with these devices, they feature two brightness levels that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye in normal conditions. These are the first and second brightness levels, which are compatible with night vision.
Mount
The sight has a T2 footprint and comes with a lower 1/3 co-witness mount (1.63") compatible with Picatinny/Weaver rails.
Parallax-Free
Holosun sights are designed to be parallax-free. Unlike when using open sights, the shooter does not need to look through the optical axis while firing. This feature allows the shooter to react instantly. Simply align the reticle with the target and pull the trigger. This advantage is particularly appreciated by hunters and shooters in tactical disciplines.
Reliability Under Recoil
The sight can withstand an impact of 1,000 G, which is equivalent to a 9.5×73 (.375 Weatherby) caliber.
It’s also perfect for hunting and sporting calibers, including shotguns.
The Dot Sight and Eye Conditions
