The HOLOSUN HE503R Elite Gold, along with the HE403R Elite Gold, is the first HOLOSUN dot sight to feature a gold reticle. Clever battery design
The CR2032 battery is cleverly housed in the brightness control dial. Simply unscrew the battery cover and replace the battery. The battery has an exceptionally long life of up to 50,000 hours.
Switching Reticles
Switching between the 65 MOA reticle and the 2 MOA dot is very simple and quick. Simply turn the selector to the reticle symbol. Turning it back to the reticle symbol switches the reticle to the 2 MOA dot.

Night Vision Support
HOLOSUN sights are compatible with night vision devices. For use with these devices, they feature two brightness levels that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye in normal conditions. These are the first and second brightness levels, which are compatible with night vision.
Installation Of The Sight
Holosun red dot sights come with two Picatinny/Weaver-compatible mounts.
Low-profile mount with an 8mm height and a 1/3 co-witness mount. With these mounts, the red dot sight can be mounted on hunting rifles and shotguns, as well as semi-automatic rifles.
Optics cover
HOLOSUN rubber covers are included as standard with the 403 series and 503 series, with the exception of the 503FL model. The flexible cover fits the scope very snugly and protects it during transport and when the firearm is stored in a safe. Removing the cover is very quick.
Parallax-Free
HOLOSUN sights are designed to be parallax-free. Unlike when using open sights, the shooter does not need to look through the optical axis while firing. This feature allows the shooter to react instantly. Simply align the reticle with the target and pull the trigger. This advantage is particularly appreciated by hunters and shooters in tactical disciplines.
Reliability Under Recoil
The sight can withstand an impact of 1,000 G, which is equivalent to a 9.5×73 (.375 Weatherby) caliber.
It’s also perfect for hunting and sporting calibers, including shotguns.
The Dot Sight and Eye Conditions

- Using this sight in combination with astigmatism may be problematic.
- If you wear glasses, you should wear them while shooting.
