Shooters Global SG Timer GO V2 is a compact second-generation shooting timer designed for training at the shooting range and practicing dry firing. Compared to the previous version, it brings three physical buttons, a more durable waterproof body and a battery with a capacity increased by 11%. Thanks to the clear control, the basic settings can be adjusted directly on the timer without the need to connect to the phone.
SG Timer GO uses a sensitive sound sensor that can reliably capture shots during various shooting methods. Smart Mode recognizes the sound of pressing the trigger and records individual times, while Classic Mode offers a simple mode with the PAR function. The sensor sensitivity can also be set in the range of 1-100 and the timer can filter echoes and shots from other shooters in the vicinity.
The timer is also suitable for dry fire training. It can capture a shot during dry firing and, through the Drills application, allows you to create your own training exercises, record results and track progress over time.
Smart training with the Drills app
Bluetooth connectivity extends the capabilities of the SG Timer GO to include advanced Drills app features. It allows you to work with training data and also use video analysis. A smartphone can be connected to the timer and add shot data and times to the video in real time while shooting. There is also the option to record an already taken video and then add data from the corresponding training to it.
If you train without the SG Timer GO timer, the app can use AI to analyze the video, recognize the starting signal and individual shots, and create a corresponding overlay directly in the video. This gives you another way to analyze your shooting movement and compare it with your achieved times.
Connection to other devices
Bluetooth connectivity allows the SG Timer GO to be used in combination with other devices and platforms. The timer is compatible with PractiScore 2 and IPSC ESS and supports connection to Garmin and Apple Watch. The Drills app also supports the start signal in compatible Bluetooth hearing protection.
The new timer body is also water-resistant, making it more suitable for outdoor use.
